A question for you cute Brits?

Is the stuff I watch on BBC America current? I like that show Mile High. Changing Rooms is cool, but it seems like every room is SO modern? I thought you all would have flowered wall paper, bone china tea cups and quilts on your beds?

Do you really use the words gobsmacked and shag?

Do you all really drink tea and scones a lot?

Do you miss Princess Di?

A question for you cute Brits?
The majority of Britain still have quilts on our beds and china tea cups, but they arent shown regularly on programs like changing rooms. Its all about making the home owner proud of their house and seeing it as modern. Sadly now, many people dont want flowered walls and the traditional English feel.

Yes we do use 'gobsmacked' and 'shag'.

We do drink tea, i love a good cup of tea every so often. Scones are a little pushing it, we tend to have them in little country tea rooms where the china cups and plates come out.

and Yes we (well I do anyway) miss Princess Diana, she was a great role model and there should be more people like her in the world today!!
Reply:You seem to have a lot on your mind. Tea means dinner. Lady Di was my hero.
Reply:There are plenty of rooms with flowered wall paper, but no one wants to see those on TV.

Yes, we use gobsmacked and shag.

Lots of people drink a lot of tea. Scones are more of a genteel country thing, but it happens.

No, we don't miss Princess Di. Let her rest.
