I am looking for a change in my room what can I do?

I have changed my room around. I am fourteen and I don't want a little girls room anymore. but I cant do anything dramatic to my room like changing the carpet or painting the walls or even putting hooks on the walls because we are renting but this is how my walls are at the moment. They have this cute white flower wall paper about just over 3/4 of the way down then underneath it is a VERY light pink, above the walla paper is a VERY pale blue. I dont know what I can do with my room to make it look good. What should I put on my walls (I can use bluetack) I like music and animals.

any ideas?

Thanks

You should paint it white, then get a couple of friends together and paint random stuff that you will remember forever.
Reply:Well, I would maybe take like thumbtacks or Hercules hooks (their hooks that go into the wall but leave a tiny mark) and maybe hang a poster or a mirror or pictures.

Maybe you can buy plants and new bedding, that might give it a different feel. Maybe if you buy a new dresser or new couch. You know? Be creative! Good Luck!

-Hope I helped.
Reply:It's hard growing up and not being able to express yourself because you're renting isn't it? It's a pity about the cute wallpaper.I guess the only way is with posters and blue tack. You could go to garage sales and second hand shops and you never know what you could pick up to brighten up your room(bright bean bag or cushions, a rug,), and they're incredibly cheap. Look around. Get started. You might get hooked on bargain hunting.
Reply:Get some musical notes and trace them on a Mylar paper and paint the Mylar black, for black notes you can randomly place on the walls. If you like zebras, you could do the same with zebra or zebra stripes together with the music theme.
Reply:not being able to paint are hang things makes it very hard ~~ If you like music that is a great theme for a young lady ~~I f you could afford A LOT of fabric you could cover the upper walls there are ways to hang with out messing up what is there ~~If you can find a way to deal with the upper wall the solid pink won't be as noticeable wth furniture around ~~If you can~ go to yard sales and/are flea markets and look for things that would fit into that theme~Old music books -magazines - catalogs

frames for the pictures you find and sometimes oooold instruments are kids size for very little money ~~ Curtains %26amp; bedding can help a lot by keeping it in solid colors that detract from the little girl colors A medium tone not soft %26amp; pale

and not bright~~Solid color wicker is a great thing to add to a young ladies room ~~only 2-3 pieces if you can ~ We had that same problem where ever we went when our children were growing~I found a chest of drawers on the road ~redid it for our daughter when she was six and she used it until she

was 45~the really important thing is to be VERY patient and have fun looking and finding things ~~ Goodluck %26amp;many smiles~~~~~~~E~~~~~~~~
Reply:I have really cute stickers that are made for your walls you can get them at target, mine are flowers! Also i put up nice mirrors, and a canopy over my bed it makes it more dramatic and exotic, Good Luck:)
