How can I keep secrets without lying?

I love to leave little notes and small gifts for my friends at school as a suprise, but I don't enjoy it as much if they find out who it was. I don't like getting credit for being nice to them, I just like to see them cheer up. Whenever I leave notes or somethng like paper flowers or something for them, they always ask if it was me, and I can't bring myself to lie to them (I never have been able to), so I always tell them.

How can I do things for them anonymously and not lie about who did it?

How can I keep secrets without lying?
Say nothing at all....Act like those monkeys...See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil.....(smile) Silence. (smile)
Reply:Why would you want to lie? Its so cute to be a good friend I'd be happy. I mean even if you learn to lie, they'll probably assume it was from you if you've done those things before. If someone asks just be like, " it was probably someone that really cares about seeing you happy, does it really matter who its from? "
Reply:well, if they're going to ask you, and you don't wanna lie, then obviously it won't work.. haha, just don't be suspicious about it and maybe they wont ask
Reply:dont look away (people belive others more when they recive eye contac) give short detailed answer that dont leave room for follow up questions
Reply:If you are known for the gift-giving, you may get blamed when someone sends them a bomb!

Just say who it's from.

It's safer this day and age.
Reply:You've already got the reputation- they'll know it was you even if you deny it. Face it, the jig is up!
Reply:IF ASKED TALK AROUND THE ANSWER SO AS TO BEAT AROUND THE BUSH
Reply:"It could be me..but then again maybe it's not...!!"

"I would hate to spoil the surprise by telling you"

"It could have been that masked man...you know the one...!!"
Reply:You find ways around the truth. Tell them, "You have no evidence it was me."
Reply:just be very serious one day
Reply:Just give them a look...no words= no lies.
Reply:When they ask, all you have to say is: "I plead the Fifth!"

(Fifth Amendment to the constitution. You can not be forced to answer a question that will incriminate you in the U.S. Not even in a court of law!)
