In Paper Mario for Nintendo64, where is the sewer pipe that leads to Yoshi Island?
I need to know this apparently because this leads to the next place after Flower Fields
In Paper Mario for Nintendo64, where is the sewer pipe that leads to Yoshi Island?
If you want to go to Lavalava Island (that's Yoshi Island), then when you go down the main pipe to the tunnles, there should be a wooden panel a bit to the left of where you entered. You need to do a spin jump (after Boo's Mansion) to break through. You need to have Sushie (from Lavalava Island) to swim across the water. You'll also have to fight a Blooper, so be prepared. Then go through the door, past the spikes, through the next door, and through the icy blue door to get to the icy place (after Flower Fields). Hope this helps!

Can Someone Check My Logic Paper?
In locker one, there is a flower coat and a instrument. In locker two, there is a regular long coat with a trumpet, and in locker three, there is a flower coat like in locker one, and a baseball bat with shoes. In locker four, there is an umbrella and a baseball bat. In locker five there is a winter coat and a vollyball.
My hints are:
Amy and Jen have the same Jacket
Dan and Amy both play in the school band
Andy plays on a different team from Peter and Jen.
I think locker one is Amy's, locker two is Dan's, locker three is Jen's, locker four is Peter's, and locker five is Andy. Do you think I am right? If so, why not?

where is the location of all of the 4 bulb-ulb's? please NO LINKS unless they tell the location please i need your help casue i need to get into flower fields
Paper mario nintendo 64?
The first one is near the south entrance of Toad Town.
The second one is on Mt. Rugged, where you found one of the letters to give to Parakarry
The third is in the 4th screen of the Forever Forest.
The last one is in Lavalava Island. You have to get the Volcano Vase at the end of the jungle and give it to Kolorado. He will give you the final seed.
Good luck with the rest of the game!

Paper mario on n64?
This is the third Q i have asked bout this game. Well i am on the chapter in Flower Fields and i can't beat the boss! He is cloud king Huff N' Puff and i have tried at least 100x to defeat this guy but never suceed! Can someone tell me what to do? thanx!
Paper mario on n64?
Alright, I am the Paper Mario master! I can help you out with anything regarding this gemstone of games! Huff 'n Puff is one of the more difficult bosses, seeing as he can hit you with major attacks when the mini-Puffs surround him. My personal strategy while fighting is to use the Multibounce badge with Mario, because you can kill all of the little Puffs with one hit if you get the Action Command. You can use Bombette's Mega Bomb as well, but that wastes way too much FP. Depending on which party member is your favorite, your power might be dependant upon them. Items always help. Be sure to bring healing items, and also maybe attack-boost items. I am a fan of Goombario myself, and his Multibonk when charged up for a few turns can dish out some major damage. Charge up your Star Power also; the Smooch command can really up your HP when you are injured. Basically, it all depends on your own strategies, but those are some that worked well for me. Feel free to email me if you need further help, it has been a while since I have played, but I generally remember how to do things.
Reply:mario is very hard you cannot finish the game.focus on someother game.it is wonderful that you come to the boss.
Reply:This is an awesome game and I hate that boss - super annoying. It's been a while since I've played it though. Let me see if I can remember.
Okay, first thing to do: train. I know it's long and boring, but it's worth it for the hp and flower points. Once you think that you're strong enough, take on the boss.
I don't remeber, so let me look it up... Here we go, from game faqs:
Start the battle by killing every single cloud helper the big damn cloud has. Use Mega Jump on Huff N’ Puff, and Lakilester’s Spiny Surge. If you get Spiny Surge at maximum (easy to do... move your controller and move the analog stick toward the left as much as you can) then you will get rid of all of Huff N’Puff’s helpers. On his turn, he will make 2 new clouds appear. They will go up to you and start draining your HP unless you continuously press A to get rid of them. He will then spawn new cloud helpers, which can either attack you full force (having you bash the buttons) or swallow them to cure up to 20 of his HP, which is very bad. Use Mario’s Mega Jump you got to do some good damage on Huff N’ Puff, and Lakilester’s Cloud Nine will be very useful in the battle. Also, you can try to switch Bow with Lakilester and do her Fan Smack. Sometime in the battle the boss will use his super attack, which does 10-16 damage. So keep your HP high and never leave his buddies up there, or he’ll swallow them to cure himself. Beat him to free Kelvar, the sixth star spirit.

Can I plant a flower in a big mug?
They are a handful perennial wildflower seeds and the mug is the size of a toilet paper roll. Do you think the ceramic mug is big enough?
Can I plant a flower in a big mug?
You're probably going to end up with too many plants for the mug but you can thin them out as they sprout. If these seeds are different varieties of flowers some may be too large for the container. Be sure to put some pebbles or something similar in the bottom of the mug before adding the soil for better drainage since there is no drain hole in the bottom of your "pot". It should be cute.
Reply:Yes it will be cute!
Reply:I agree with Daphne
Reply:Only if it has a hole in the bottom for drainage, or if you are VERY careful to not overwater. Plants don't like wet feet.
Reply:Should be o.k. for a while but not for long. Once the plants start to bloom you will want to move them to a larger container, and maybe outside so they can get more light. For starting though they should be fine...;
Reply:Toto is right...
Reply:Sure, but don't plant too many seeds in it. As the plants grow, you will need to remove some of the seedlings to let the rest grow strong.
Reply:ya, that should be okay. but if you usei t jst make sure that you d not over water it
Reply:Wow, that's a BIG cup of coffee!
You'll need to make sure you have some drainage, so before you put the soil into the mug, put in a few teaspoons of small pebbles.
DO NOT OVER WATER!!
What kind of wildflowers?
Sounds like a really cute idea and ought to be pretty.
Have fun with your green thumb!
SMILE!
Reply:what they said and if the cup is not to be reused as a cup fro about 5 bucks you can buy a ceramic tile drill bit and with a steady hand add a drainage hole. I do that all the time on containers that do not have drainage.

im thinking of just going to paper flowers instead is that better

Showing a sensitive side IS a good thing, don't worry.
fold for her whatever your heart desires to fold for her.

Here is the thing. When you gave that to her, you showed that you were thinking of her, and you wanted to give her something.
I have told every b/f that you don't need to spend money on me, spend time. Picking a flower, drawing a picture, send a romantic text message... the less cost and more thought that you give, the more you both win.
Way to go. You rock!!!

The impossible star/flower drawing?
ITS RUINING LIVES! I need help. There is this drawing that you have to do without going over the same line twice and you cant take your pen off the paper. Some people do it like a star where there is a trinangle on each side of a square with an x in the middle and some people do it with rounded edges. Im really starting to think its impossible. I havent found an answer yet, can you help me?! please.
The impossible star/flower drawing?
of course you can do it
what i do is draw a barn with a roof on top and x in the midle
you start in the middle and go left . way up to the roof
Reply:Would that be the barn doodle trick? |X|%26gt; looks kinda like that? If it is, thereare several ways to do it, I actually made several how-to guides for those (just for me though) It's hard to explain, but I'll try. Don't lift up your pen!
1. Draw a verticle line
2. Draw a diagonal line going right at a 45 degree angle
3. Draw a diagonal line going down at a 45 degree angle(the same length)
4. Draw a horizontal line connecting the bottoms of both diagonal lines
5. Draw a diagonal line going down and right at a 45 degree angle, and have it end in the center of your picture
6. Draw a diagonal line going down and left at a 45 degree angle, and have it end at the beginning of your first line
7. Draw a horizontal line going right that ends below the end of the first horizontal line you drew
8. Draw a diagonal line going up and left at a 45 degree angle, and have it end at the ending of your first line
9. Draw a diagonal line going up and right at a 45 degree angle that ends at the corner of the upper right 45 degree angle intersection
Hope that was understandable and that it helped a bit...
And I hope that was what what you were even looking for.

Rose is a type of flower,... as fir is a type of tree.
Pair and Pare are words that sound the same, but spelled differently, as is answer number 1.
Reply:fir is to tree

their is to there
Reply:For the first one, a rose is a type of flower, so the answer is 1 because a fir is a type of tree.
The second one is a homonym (words with the same pronunciation but different meanings) so the correct answer is also 1.

Am painting my kitchen and can't decide what color paint. any help for me?
my kitchen has med. oak trim, cabinets and floor. counter tops are light tan. stripped off old pink wallpaper and was thinking of painting it green, maybe village green by laura ashley but am not sure if this is too dark. am looking for a vintage look that makes the kitchen a warm and inviting place. maybe another color? adjoining rooms: LR: off white (beige) and DR" chair rail (med oak) with paper flowered on top with mauve flowers, green and teal leaves and bottom teal stripes.
Am painting my kitchen and can't decide what color paint. any help for me?
Love a yellow kitchen and I think that would give it a vintage look...
Reply:a sunshine yellow is great for a kitchen
Reply:I am getting ready to do my kitchen in a medium green, I have oak cabinets. The curtains I will putting up are white trimmed in green and have apples on them. I have a few other apple things in the kitchen too, clock apple design on toaster and blender covers, etc. Hope this helps with the ideas.
Reply:It sounds like my kitchen. I'm going to use a sort of buttery yellow and then have one green wall as an accent. But sort of a muted green. I'm not sure what village green is. Good luck.
I've been going back and forth between a sort of tuscan orange and a gold or yellow. Warm collors do tend to stimulate the appetite more, but I think the medium oak is probably warm enough. In my case the lighting is bad, so I don't want to go too dark. Consider your lighting too.
Reply:I think that color of green would be perfect-Good luck!~
Reply:Something that is mood swinging, i don't like bright, more of a pastel that enlightens the atmosphere without being overbearing, good luck
Reply:I would say that green color is In this season and it does look really pretty!! Also another thing is people are painting one wall a darker color and than another wall in the same room a lighter color. It does look really nice when it is all done!! Good Luck!!
Reply:use this URL to a color scheme site to browse before you buy http://sherlink.sherwin.com/swapp/color_...
Reply:Hi there,
Homebase have a colour called Lush or Lust can't quite remmebr but i think it's a reeli noce shade of green for a kitchen and not too pricey either!
Reply:Seems like you have lots of green already in the dining room. what about pulling in the mauve color from the dining room and adding a nice dark burgandy with that?? So, you would have the colors of mauve, burgandy and cream/tan. I think that would give a nice vintage look and gives you alot of options for buying things to match. You could go for a modern look with those colors or a vintage victorian look. Good Luck.
Reply:There is so many color choices out there that it is hard to decide on one! This site helped me figure out what would work best in my kitchen. http://www.kitchen-cabinets-design.com/k...
You really just have to decide what makes you happy and what color you want to look at day after day.
Reply:I've always liked a yellow kitchen. It would work well with what you have described.

Horticulture 1 flower assingment.... what should i pass around class?
i am doing a paper on 5 ATEPS TO LONG-LASTING ROSES and its all ready, but what should i pass around the class to see? (i get extra points!!!)
THANKS!!!
Horticulture 1 flower assingment.... what should i pass around class?
1. a zip loc bag with the proper soil mix while discussing consistency, drainage and nutrients
2. proper tools for pruning (demonstrate with a plant remembering to use bypass pruners NOT anvil and pruning back to a 5 leaf cluster.
3. Some of the products used to tackle black mold, aphids %26amp; fertilizers
4. A long stemmed rose for your teacher!!
Reply:5 roses, each one representing one of your 5 steps.
Reply:a book on roses or buy a thornless rose
Reply:I would do something that represents the steps. It could even be a mini sampler. For example, you could have a sample of the ideal soil mix, tools for propagating, fertilizer, and a small plant that you've grown. Many people remember what they've heard/learned with good visual cues.

im writing a report on Nevada and need to know if this is good. It will say look here for pics but there on a cologe so these are just words...
Nevada
The state of Nevada was claimed as the 36th state on October 31, 1864.Thats when it became an official state. Nevada’s nicknames are Sagebrush State, Battle Born State, and the most known nickname is the Silver State. The meaning of the name of our state “Nevada” is snow-capped in Spanish. Here are some facts about Nevada; the population is about 1,998,257 people. It’s the 35th largest state (2000 census). Nevada’s Capital is Carson City. The state bird is the Mountain Bluebird and the state animal is the Desert Bighorn. The state flower is Sagebrush and the state tree is Single-leaf Pinon and the Bristlecone Pine. Our state precious gemstone is the Virgin Valley Black Fire Opal. The state song is Home Means Nevada.
Home means Nevada, Home means the hills. Home means the sage and the pine. Out by the Truckee’s silvery rills. Out where the sun always shines. There is the land that I love the best, fairer than all I can see. Right in the heart of the golden West, Home means Nevada to me.
Our state colors or silver and blue. And the state flag has a green reef looking type of thing on it with yellow flowers. Its says Nevada under a white star. Above the white star there is a scroll saying battle born. The background color of the flag is navy blue.
Our states motto is “all for our country.”
Here is a picture of what our state looks like,
Here is a picture of Carson city, our capital.
Nevada is the home of the wild mustangs, which is one of my favorite things about the state.
Nevada is bordered by Utah,Arazona,California,Oregon, and Idaho.
Here is a timeline of dates that are important to
Nevada.
• 1821 Mexico claimed the area after a successful revolt against Spain.
• 1840's Americans on the way to California traveled through the region.
• 1848 Nevada was part of the area ceded by Mexico to the United States.
• 1849 The first non-Indian settlement was made at Mormon Station (Genoa).
• 1850 When Utah Territory was organized, almost all of present-day Nevada was included except the southern tip, which was then part of the New Mexico Territory.
• 1859 The Comstock Lode of gold and silver was discovered at Virginia City, and many miners began coming from California.
• 1861 Congress created Nevada Territory. In 1862 the territory was enlarged by shifting the eastern boundary.
• 1863 Nevada became a state. In 1866 and 1867 more eastern land was gained from Utah Territory and the southern tip was acquired from Arizona Territory.
• 1880 - 1890 As the Comstock Lode declined, the state's population fell from 62,000 to 47,000.
• 1900 The discovery of silver at Tonopah, soon followed by gold strikes at Goldfield and the discovery of copper at Ely, led to a new mining boom that lasted until after World War I.
Those are some very important history dates of Nevada.

Nevada has a lot of beautiful scenery look here.
One thing you guys might know about Nevada, is Sarah Winnemucca. This is what the wikipedia says about her in the first paragraph, Sarah Winnemucca (born Thocmentony, Paiute: Shell Flower )which is now western Nevada… (ca. 1841 – October 17, 1891) was notable for being the first Native American woman known to secure a copyright and to publish in the English language. She was also known by her married name, Sarah Winnemucca Hopkins, under which she was published. Her book, Life Among the Paiutes: Their Wrongs and Claims, is an autobiographical account of her people during their first forty years of contact with explorers and settlers.
Sarah was a person of two worlds. At the time of her birth her people had only very limited contact with Euro-Americans; however she spent much of her adult life in white society. Like many people of two worlds, she may be judged harshly in both contexts. Many Paiutes view her as a collaborator who helped the U.S. Army kill her people. Modern historians view her book as an important primary source, but one that is deliberately misleading in many instances. Despite this, Sarah has received much positive attention recently for her activism. She was inducted into the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame in 1993, and in 2005 a statue of her was added to the National Statuary Hall Collection in the U.S. Capitol.
That says a lot about her. Sarah Winnemucca is very well known for bringing peace between Americans and Indians. Nevada is well known for her. Because she was born in what is now western Nevada. She is now in the Nevada hall of fame.
Nevada is apart of the Great Basin desert. You can see many miles of beautiful mountains, sagebrush, animals, and so much more!!! Nevada has one of the lowest average rainfalls out of the fifty states: nine inches. You may have heard the poem Mountains as Islands which says the following,
Mountains as Islands
Each range here is like a warship standing on its own, and the Great Basin is an ocean of loose sediment with these mountain ranges standing in it as if they were members of a fleet without precedent, assembled at Guam to assault Japan. Some of the ranges are forty miles long, others a hundred, a hundred and fifty. They point generally north. The basins that separate them-ten and fifteen miles wide-will run on for fifty, a hundred, two hundred and fifty miles with lone, daisy-petalled windmills standing over sage and wild rye. …Discounting the cry of the occasional bird, the wailing of a pack of coyotes, silence-a great spatial silence- is pure in the Basin and Range. It is a soundless immensity with mountains in it.

Reply:This is a good paper, especially for 4th grade. But ways to improve would be to "shortlist" the points. I.E. cut down on the bullet points, and dont list them as bullet points. Explain them each in a sentence and explain about them.
Also, at the end end with "to conclude," or "in conclusion" and sum up the paper and the point you are making in writing the paper, and the most important bit of your conclusion, your opinion!
GOOD LUCK!

Reply:Make her a card. Or draw a picture of your family and pets. If your really crafty, make a christmas tree, or wreath.
Reply:Purple card with an poem you stole off the internet but just say u made her the poem
Reply:A simple greeting card. Guess you can do it on your computer and print it out. Put in your own words of gratitudes to your mum. Use all your words from your heart ... I believe you are already her greatest gift on all the christmas. Just tell her how much you love her and thank her for all the things that she has done for you. I beleive all these words will strike deeply into her heart. You don't have to spend all night preparing because if your mum loves you, she doesn't want you to stay out all nights just to give her present. Just accompany her or help her more on christmas. I believe she'll be very happy. Merry Christmas ! Don't celebrate Christmas with your Panda Eyes !

Flower question?
I was told to put the seed in a dark wet place, so I put it in a wet paper towel. Two weeks later it "sprouted." Is that the root or the stalk? Which way should i plant it?
Flower question?
Usually the root emerges first, before the stalk. Plant it with the growing part aimed down.
You can usually tell the stalk by looking for the tiny leaves that have a hint of green color. The root of most plants usually is very white.
Reply:That would be the root. Drop it into a flower pot with moist soil...plants are smart; they can tell which way is up. :)
Reply:the one end with a small leaf will be the stalk while the other one will be the root.
Reply:Look for the green, the roots should be white. The first two leaves are not the true leaves. So wait until you see four total. Then get them into the proper soil for that species.
Poke a hole into the mix with a pencil and set them in gently.
tap the soil down pot tapping the pot on a hard service. Then mist them in. Keep slight moist until they start to grow then water and fertilize. They will have roots so you may do this. Keep them all in the same pot until they crowd it. Then transplant, I don't know how many seeds germinated? That would be nice to know them I could tell you what size container you would need. I don't know where you live or I could tell you if you need sun or shade for these seedlings.
To get accurate responses we need information the more the better. Congratulations on getting the seed to germinate.

Paper mario 64 help???
OK, i am in flower feilds trying to get the sun back. I am in search for the puff puff mechine. ( the machine that makes all the clouds)
I was supposed to go east and i kept going until i came to a well. I keep throwing thing into the well and someone keeps sending bees and flowers out the i am to beat. What do i do??
Paper mario 64 help???
Oooh, that's an old game. You have to throw the correct color berry in the well. There are different ones, though, depending on where you are. Talk to the flowers (the one that lies) or go to mervin (sp?). Wow, your question makes me want to pull out Paper Mario and play it again!

St. patrick's day party math question?
nina, leanne, jessica, and susan are going to the st. patrick's day party with their boyfriends, jason, carol, damon, and ed. each girl is wearing something green- ribbons, dress, shamrocks, and beads. each girl is taking a snack to eat potato chips, taffy, cocoa, and deviled eggs. each girl will bring decorations for party paper flowers, leprechaun, streamers, balloons. girls heights are 4 ft. 5in, 4 ft 8 in, 5 ft 1in, and 5ft. 2in
1 jason girlfriend is shortest girl %26amp; wears ribbons in her hair
2 carl likes the deviled eggs %26amp; taffy better than what his friend brought
3 susan is 5 inches taller than jessica but shorter than ed's friend
4 carl compliments his date on her shamrocks and her leprechanun
5 leanne spilled some of the cocoa that damon's girlfriend brought on her new green dress
6 damon helped his girlfriend blow up balloons
7 ed's friend is 1 inch taller than the girl with shamrocks
8 nina hates sweets
9. the same girl made both the deviled eggs %26amp; paper flowers
St. patrick's day party math question?
You can only solve these things by making diagrams.
1. Jason's girlfriend is the shortest girl and wears ribbons.
Therefore Jason's girlfriend is 4'5"; Jason's girlfriend wears ribbons, and the shortest girl wears ribbons.
Summary:
Jason - 4'5" - ribbons
2. Carl likes the deviled eggs and taffy better than what his friend brought.
Therefore, Carl did not come with the girl who brought deviled eggs or taffy. (So he either came with the one who brought potato chips or cocoa.)
Summary:
Jason - 4'5" - ribbons
Carl - (potato chips or cocoa)
3. Susan is 5 inches taller than Jessica but shorter than Ed's friend.
There's only one height that is 5" taller than the previous height -- 5'1" versus 4'8" -- so Susan MUST be 5'1". Also Susan is NOT Ed's girlfriend, and since 5'1" is the second tallest height, Ed's girlfriend MUST be the tallest at 5'2".
Also, since Susan (who is 5'1") is 5" taller than Jessica, Jessica must be 4'8".
Also, from #1, since Jason is dating the shortest girl, and Susan and Jessica are the two middle girls in height, Jason is not dating either Susan or Jessica.
So now we know that Carl and Damon are dating either Jessica (4'8") or Susan (5'1"). Ed is dating the tallest (5'2") and Jason is dating the shortest (4'5"), which are Nina and Leanne (but we don't know whether Nina is tallest and Leanne is shortest or vice versa).
Summary:
(Nina or Leanne) - Jason - 4'5" - ribbons
(Susan - 5'1" or Jessica - 4'8") - Carl - (potato chips or cocoa)
(Susan - 5'1" or Jessica - 4'8") - Damon
(Nina or Leanne) - Ed - 5'2"
4. Carl compliments his date on her shamrocks and her leprechaun.
So Carl's date (who we said above is either Jessica (4'8") or Susan (5'1")) wore shamrocks and brought a leprechaun. So neither Leanne nor Nina wore shamrocks or brought a leprechaun, and neither the tallest nor the shortest girl wore shamrocks or brought a leprechaun.
Also, again referring back to #2, we know Carl's date didn't bring deviled eggs or taffy, so the girl who wore shamrocks and brought a leprechaun didn't bring deviled eggs or taffy.
Summary:
(Nina or Leanne) - Jason - 4'5" - ribbons
(Susan - 5'1" or Jessica - 4'8") - Carl - (potato chips or cocoa) - shamrocks - leprechaun
(Susan - 5'1" or Jessica - 4'8") - Damon
(Nina or Leanne) - Ed - 5'2"
5. Leanne spilled some of the cocoa that Damon's girlfriend brought on her new green dress.
So Leanne wore the dress. We know that Leanne is either the tallest or the shortest, so neither of the middle-height girls wore the dress. This, combined with #1 saying that the shortest girl wore ribbons leads us to conclude that Leanne is the tallest at 5'2", which means that she must be dating Ed (from #3 above), and Nina must be the shortest at 4'5" and dating Jason (also from #3 above) and must the one wearing ribbons (from #1).
Also Ed's date, Leanne, wore a dress. And since Carl's date wore the shamrocks (2), Jason's date wore the ribbons (1), that leaves Damon's date to wear the beads.
We also know from this sentence that Damon's date brought the cocoa, so the girl who brought the cocoa wore the beads.
We also know that Carl's date brought the potato chips (since we said above in #2 that she brought either potato chips or cocoa, and Damon's date brought the cocoa).
And therefore the girl who brought the potato chips also brought the leprechaun and the shamrocks, from #4.
Summary:
Nina brought Jason, wore ribbons, is 4'5".
Leanne brought Ed, wore the dress, is 5'2".
Jessica, who is 4'8", brought either Carl (whose date brought potato chips, wore shamrocks, and brought a leprechaun) or Damon (whose date brought cocoa and wore beads).
Susan, who is 5'1", brought either Carl (whose date brought potato chips, wore shamrocks, and brought a leprechaun) or Damon (whose date brought cocoa and wore beads).
6. Damon helped his girlfriend blow up balloons.
And since we know Damon's date also brought cocoa and wore beads, that knocks out some other possibilities:
Nina brought Jason, wore ribbons, is 4'5".
Leanne brought Ed, wore the dress, is 5'2".
Jessica, who is 4'8", brought either Carl (whose date brought potato chips, wore shamrocks, and brought a leprechaun) or Damon (whose date brought cocoa, wore beads, and brought balloons).
Susan, who is 5'1", brought either Carl (whose date brought potato chips, wore shamrocks, and brought a leprechaun) or Damon (whose date brought cocoa, wore beads, and brought ballons).
7. Ed's friend is 1" taller than the girl with shamrocks.
Ed's friend is Leanne, who is 5'2", 1" taller than Susan at 5'1". So Susan brought the shamrocks, which means she brought Carl and potato chips. Therefore Damon must have brought Jessica.
Nina brought Jason, wore ribbons, is 4'5".
Leanne brought Ed, wore the dress, is 5'2".
Jessica, who is 4'8", brought Damon, brought cocoa, wore beads, and brought balloons.
Susan, who is 5'1", brought Carl, brought potato chips, wore shamrocks, and brought a leprechaun.
8. Nina hates sweets.
This presumably means she didn't bring the taffy...so she must have brought the deviled eggs and Leanne brought the taffy.
Nina brought Jason, wore ribbons, is 4'5", and brought deviled eggs.
Leanne brought Ed, wore the dress, is 5'2" and brought taffy.
Jessica, who is 4'8", brought Damon, brought cocoa, wore beads, and brought balloons.
Susan, who is 5'1", brought Carl, brought potato chips, wore shamrocks, and brought a leprechaun.
9. The same girl made both the deviled eggs and paper flowers.
That would be Nina, so we're done.
Nina brought Jason, wore ribbons, is 4'5", and brought deviled eggs and paper flowers.
Leanne brought Ed, wore the dress, is 5'2" and brought taffy and streamers.
Jessica, who is 4'8", brought Damon, brought cocoa, wore beads, and brought balloons.
Susan, who is 5'1", brought Carl, brought potato chips, wore shamrocks, and brought a leprechaun.
I've posted the chart that I used to help me reason through this on my website. The numbers in the boxes indicate at which sentence I was able to make a decision whether or not that box should be white (a match) or grey (not a match).

What do you think of this as a centerpiece?
I'm thinking about making my centerpieces out of paper flowers like this.
http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site...
Or maybe mixing in real flowers with the paper ones?
I think it would give it a fun artsy vibe?
Our wedding is casual at a state park so we will already be surrounded by natural flowers, trees and plants.
What do you think of this as a centerpiece?
Jennifer, do yourself a favor and do not add to the list of things that need to be done for a wedding. The amount of time and cost of supplies, would outweigh the time saved and convenience of getting real flowers.
You could use these for your reception, to save cost in decorating, but for you and your bridesmaids, use real.
Reply:2 things you said rang bells in my head
1st of all, "an artsy vibe" hmmmm i consider myself to be quite artsy, so i'm not adverse, but is that the look you want at your wedding,
and secondly, you say you will be surrounded by nature, and this sounds beautiful, why bring in something so artificial? if your wedding had been indoors i think these flowers would be beautiful, but since you have mother nature as your backdrop, i think it will highlight the colour %26amp; textures as fake even more,
work with something more natural, keep consistancy going
a park wedding sounds wonderful
congratulations
Reply:They are beautiful and will never wilt or die!
I think you should just stick to the paper ones rather than a mix. Play around with them before making your entire bouquet, if it doesn't tell you how to make specific variety of flowers you want can you come up with then yourself?
I think it is very artsy and beautiful. Probably cheaper than flowers from a florist as well.
Good luck!
Reply:i think the paper flowers are an excellent idea the reason is because if you think about it they will last forever and you can keep them as a memory forever-just like your marriage! i wish you the best of luck and god bless you

Reply:It's beautiful... but would be so bizarre/ironic to have paper flowers when you are outside in nature!

Reply:These look great. Please don't mix with real flowers, because they are good on their own. Start making your flowers early because they look like they will take a long time to make.
Reply:Wow those are gorgeous! I think they're a great idea. I wouldn't worry about mixing them with fresh flowers, they are beautiful as they are.
Reply:wow those flowers looked real lol.. i was looking around for the fake ones haha!
i would just do the centerpices with thos paper ones and then having babys breath as well or some other kind of filler flower :)
Reply:AWESOME!!! They are really really pretty...I'd just stick to those ones if possible
Let the park/mother nature arrange the real flowers etc. lol
Reply:They look adorable to me, I think a tad a baby's Breath would look cute as well!

i just love those, plus some of your guests would be able to bring them home if you wanted..as a special gift

Wut is the message in this evanescence song?
Imaginery
I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clocks screaming
Monsters calling my name
Let me stay where the wind will whisper to me
Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple skies fly over me
Don't say im out of touch
With this rampant chaos
Your reality
I know well
What lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare i built my own world to escape
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple skies fly over me
Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh how i long for the deep sleep dreaming
The goddess of imaginery light
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple skies fly over me
Wut is the message in this evanescence song?
Certainly it could be interpreted as an ode to escapism via the imagination, whether it be daydreams, or a "safe haven" in her mind, or literally sleep dreams. But that's not the whole picture.
I think there's enough evidence to push it one step further, and to say that the song is specifically a yearning for a return to the naivety (and hence carefree nature) of childhood.
Firstly there are the explicit references to objects with childhood connotations: "monsters", "paper flowers", "candy", and "lullaby". These are juxtaposed with the "alarm clock" as a symbol of adulthood responsibility, and she even subtly compares the alarm clock to an adult version of a monster.
Secondly, I see a double meaning in "Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story." When Amy Lee (the singer) was in high school, she wrote a choir piece called "Listen to the Rain", a wonderfully poetic lyric in its own right, in which falling rain literally tells a story about the brevity and urgency of life. So I see this allusion to her teenage years as a reference to (and a longing for) Amy's own childhood.
Reply:It's like a melancholv strain.
Reply:Most would call that "rampant chaos"... I believe she would call it...her "safe place" so basically it is an imaginary place she can go to in her mind to get away from reality. It is a good thing... the only time it is a bad this is if you go to that place and stay there for really long periods of time.. Then you'd be deemed insane
This song isn't meant for you to understand.. it is for her
Reply:ok the song is about amy's life being a nightmare and her bedroom being her refuge....she's describing her bedroom as a child
Reply:it's a song about a nightmare in real life.
Reply:my interpretation is it is about a person who feels more comfortable in the imaginary world of her mind and dreams than in the real world and would like to stay there and not have to deal with reality
I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clocks screaming
Monsters calling my name
Let me stay where the wind will whisper to me
Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple skies fly over me
Don't say im out of touch
With this rampant chaos
Your reality
I know well
What lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare i built my own world to escape
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple skies fly over me
Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh how i long for the deep sleep dreaming
The goddess of imaginery light
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple skies fly over me
Wut is the message in this evanescence song?

Evanescence lyrics?
how do these lyrics sound in a poetic sense?
I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clock screaming monsters
Calling my name
Let me stay,
Where the wind will whisper to me,
Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story.
[CHORUS:]
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullabies,
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me.
Don't say I'm out of touch
With this rampant chaos, Your reality.
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge,
The nightmare, I built my own world to escape.
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullabies,
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me.
Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear
Of silent nights.
Oh, how I long for the deep sleep dreaming,
The goddess of imaginary light.
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullabies,
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me.
Evanescence lyrics?
Your chorus has a very catchy quality to it, but "sky fly over me" doesn't work for me. Usually a chorus will rhyme even when the verses do not, and I think in this case, they should do the same. Let's take a look:
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullabies,
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me.
It's that last line that needs work...how about:
"As over me my purple sky flies"?
or
"As over me a purple sky flies"?
The verses are a little uneven and might benefit from editing after you have someone else read them to you out loud so you can hear how they sound as written (it's tough to do in your head because you cheat...we all do).
Good images...love the chorus

Sending my girlfriend flowers at work for the first time?
Im gonna send my gf flowers at work for the first time, weve been dating a couple months now, and I know girls like that kinda stuff. I dont wanna send anything extravagant, just simple..I know she likes pink roses, so should I just send half a dozen of those? And should they be in a vase or just wrapped in that flower paper? Remember, I dont wanna overdo it.
Sending my girlfriend flowers at work for the first time?
4-5 flowers in a small vase. And a note saying, ' I'm thinking about you...'
That is SOOO sweet of you! Your girlfriend's lucky to have you.
Reply:I would not want flowers at my workplace...check and see with her in a round about way if this is something that she has seen in the office before and try and gauge her response.
Don;t assume that she is "like all girls" We women are all very, very different.
Reply:you're a sweet boyfriend!
anything will probably make her happy, but here is my suggestion:
give her 12 pink roses, and just leave them wrapped in flower paper
also, give her a sweet card with a poem or something sweet
you could also add a small box of chocolates or other candies
:-)
Reply:well, you may want to make sure she will be able to put them in water. if not, send her flowers with a vase.
Reply:General rule of thumb for sending flowers to a girl is that they judge their value to you on the cost of the flowers, so if you send cheap looking flowers, she will think you don't value her much. I'm not saying everyone's the same, but if you really want to make a girl feel special, the bigger the bunch and the more extravagant the better.
Reply:Unless you know she's already got a vase at work, you'd better include at least a basic vase.
She'll love it.
One other idea is to splurge a little bit on a nice vase and then supply the flowers for it every so often.
Reply:I think vase.
That is SOOOOO sweet of you!!! I hope I get a boyfriend like you!
Reply:That would be really sweet of u.. girls do like that..when u show themu care...some surprises.......and to that u could add some little box of chocolate...that she likes...
really sweet of u :)
Reply:yes, she would love a half a dozen of pink roses...but u should get them in a vase...thats always better, she can set them on her desk and show them off and when she takes them home she doesnt have to search for something to put them in. by the way, what ur doing is very sweet and im sure she will love what ever u decide :)
Reply:a half dozen pink roses in a vase.. that should put a smile on her face :)
Reply:I always preferred the flowers to be in a vase, it looks like you spent more money and thought. Pink roses are nice, make sure they add pretty filler to make the boquet look bigger- not baby's breath though! That looks cheap. Grocery stores always put the babys breath!
Reply:The florist can do a small flower arrangement with pink roses in it. Yes, it should be in a vase because she'll want to display it on her desk. You're so thoughtful!!!

What size underwear do I wear? I have a JLo size booty and I wear a size 11 in pants... pants are a bit loose?
I only wear the size 11 because my booty is too big, but it's baggy everywhere else (don't you have weird looking crotch areas), which is one of the main reasons why I stay away from jeans. What size underwear should I wear?
My body basically looks exactly like Alexis Bledel besides I have big boobs.

I'll bet you're a size 6.
Reply:Size 4 underwear is a small.
It depends on your hips. But I would say at least a size 6 or 7, which is pretty much a medium in Victorias Secret panties if that's any indication.
Size chart for panties found online below.
Reply:if u wear a size 11 in jeans i would say a size 8 or ten in underwear...to the first person...she can not wear a size four because i am a size 6 in jeans and i cant fit inside a size four underwear...my best guess would be a size ten in underwear
edit!
umm how are u a size 11... i have the same exact have the same waist and hips size that u do and i am a size 6 in jeans....but what ever...it doesnt add up...well i would say size 4 then...cuase thats what i wear

Does anyone remember May Day celebrations? On May 1st .....?
we used to make paper flower baskets and secretly leave them hanging on friends' doors. I don't think children do this any more.
Does anyone remember May Day celebrations? On May 1st .....?
I remember this as a child. Also, we did a May Pole for our Mothers. I would leave flowers in a a paper basket on the door of my neighbor who was elderly. She loved it.
I will have my son do this on May first to see if we can get it going again.
Thanks for reminding me.
Reply:No children don't do that any more.
Reply:Yes, I also remember the May pole.
Reply:We did that! I loved it. We picked tiny new wildflowers and would put them in the little baskets. I thought perhaps it was just a tradition in small country towns, I've not heard of it out here in the big city. . .
Reply:I remember May day and even to this day put flowers on the porch for my mom and then knock on the door and run around the house. (I am 27 yrs old) My mom looks forward to it every year no matter where we are in our relationship we always come together for this holiday. I am going to teach my daughter about it and hopefully when she understands what she is doing she will take my place and give flowers to her grandma. Happy May Day Y'all
Reply:I remember hearing about it, but not in a long time. Last time I celebrated May 1st was a friends birthday
Reply:I never knew people did this, but I think it sounds like a good tradition.
Reply:May 1st is the holiday of the workers of the world. It was celebrated especially in what used to be USSR (Russia)when it was strictly communist.

How do you make this style with your hair? I want to wear it when I see this guy =) ... ?
http://www.paper-flower.com/kristenbell/...
how do you do this? my hair is the same length, brown, naturally wavy, and holds curls or straightneing very well. So just give the best directions you can to get this knot style, please.
How do you make this style with your hair? I want to wear it when I see this guy =) ... ?
curl your hair and tie it into a low ponytail to the side but leave your fringe/bangs. then use hair grips to lift back and secure your fringe to make the quiff. and with your ponytail, twist it to create a bun and secure that with a hair tie and grips. you can use hair spray to make sure it holds
Reply:it looks like u just put ur bangs up and do a messy bun-ish thing on the low side of your head..good luck hope i helped!
Reply:ok so leave you hair down first....gather your bangs and pin them in the center of your hair....take the hair thats down and put it in a bun....hope i helped -

A Boy Likes Me...I Don't Like Him. What Do I DO?
This guy hasnt said it outright, but i know he does because he always tries to hang around me, is always looking at me, and even made me a paper flower randomly. I see this kid as a friend, I mean the only time I had a crush on him was in 1st grade...and now I'm in 10th. How do I get it across without saying it, that i am not interested?

Reply:You're not alone, this has happened to me to once. If he is a friend of yours, tell him upfront that you want to be friends, but a relationship would change things, like you wouldn't be able to tell him about everything, or if you and him broke up, that it would mess up your friendship. And if you aren't friends, tell him that you aren't feeling the same feelings as him. If he is "stalking" you too much, like the boy that wanted me did, then I would suggest talking to a counselor or going upfront and telling him that you don't have the same feelings as him. If he doesn't accept this answer, there is always mace...

Do i have a black thumb or what?
i planted lavender and mint earlier this year. it never bloomed and so i assumed that the seeds were bad. i went out and bought salvia, columbine, mint and lavender. i planted them about a month ago in those little paper flower pots. i also bought this little plastic greenhouse to put them in. i have done everything that the directions on the seed packages have told me. i water them on a daily basis and they recieve plenty of sun, so, can someone please tell me ....WHY IN THE WORLD WONT THEY GROW?
Do i have a black thumb or what?
if you are watering daily, they seeds probably rotted.
Reply:You'll be all right, Portuguese! Take the greenhouse off and let them enjoy the sun. I guarantee your mint will establish itself, no matter what you do. That plant is downright invasive and most gardeners work hard to contain it! Just give it time.
Lavender can be a bit touchy. Even the best gardeners often struggle with young lavender plants. I do not know what zone you are in, but you can try planting three or more types of lavender, such as Munstead, French, English and Spanish, and see which does the best for you. Once lavender is established, it requires little attention, and very little water. It is just while it is young that it is difficult. Perhaps you can buy a larger plant to get you started, rather than trying to grow it from seed. Good luck!
Reply:The seeds might have rotted from too much water
Do i have a black thumb or what?
if you are watering daily, they seeds probably rotted.
Reply:You'll be all right, Portuguese! Take the greenhouse off and let them enjoy the sun. I guarantee your mint will establish itself, no matter what you do. That plant is downright invasive and most gardeners work hard to contain it! Just give it time.

How do I get my hair styled like the beautiful Lauren Graham??
I think you basically curl your hair and than put it up in a loose bun, letting the front tendrils out.
I love her hair.
Reply:take it to a salon, have them do it!!
they are big barrel curls, and they look like they are pinned up in the back, or in a loose poney--leave some strands falling
Reply:First you get it curled then you pin it up in the back into an updo. And in case your still looking here are some more pics.

Good luck. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers.

your hair has to be long and you buy this little clip thing to clip the tips of your hair so you can wrap it around. hard to explain but they sell it at beauty stores
i think to fake it you can wrap you hair in a bun but before you use an elastic use a pin to keep it in place and use an elastic as a regluar hair tie

I want my hair to look like this, i think its a french braid, but i'm not sure?
http://www.paper-flower.com/kristenbell/... how do i do that? I don't know how to french braid, so can someone tell me how if it is. also is the rest of her hair in a knot? how do you keep it up?
I want my hair to look like this, i think its a french braid, but i'm not sure?
Definitely not a french braid. She braided her bangs into one braid and then pulled the whole thing into a messy bun, including the braid.
So it'll only work if you have overgrown bangs. if you do, braid those, then pull the braid into a messy bun along with the rest of your hair, and give it a shot of hairspray.
Reply:I think it is a side "fish tale braid." (They usually go down the back of the head.) She has it more to the top and side. (VERY CUTE by the way!) Here are sites on how to do it:
Reply:ok well my mom use to french braid my hair but not like that it she would make a line in the middle of my head downward to my neck and she would start from the top get a little bit of hair start braiding and keep adding more and more hair with it and braiding too but with that i think she just has it in a side ponytail and took out some hair in the front from the top to her ear and braided it like how i told you hope i help it's kinda hard to explain wish i can just show you it lol.

I have long hair, and the hair in this picture was styled by blowing out a really short head of hair back. So how can my hair look like this in the front?
I have thick, brown, hair with side bangs and lite layers at the bottom. my hair comes to around the bottom of my shoulder blades.
I love how this looks in the front how do I do this with my hair...?
use bobby pins to pin pieces in place. i could not survive with out them
Reply:you could pin the hair back by using slides (clips) to your'e hair, use some hairspray to hold the style
Reply:whow your hair looks very good that way very pretty also keep doing what you have been doing with the way that your hair looks right now

Weird or not? is there a ghost in my house????
Okay, so i have always felt like someone was floowing me.
i sometimes see shadows and when i turn around, no one is there.
a few weeks ago, i was going for a run outside my house, and i tripped over something. i FELT something trip me. i fell over and luckey for me, a teenage boy abour my age was walking ahead of me and heard me fall and helped me up.
well, last week, i went upstairs in my room, and found a dead rose i got for valentines day was burnt and someone (or something) had dumped water on it. but thats not all. my two note books full of all my poetry (about 100 poems in all) where torn up and throw all over my room. i couldn't even see my floor. also, a paper flower my friend ave me and "BFFs forever" on it 2 years ago was torn. alos were pictures of me and my friends. these pictures meant a lot to me. everything i had in my notebooks was ruined.
today, i looked outside, and saw someone walking. but it wasn't someone, it was like a shadow of someone.
is their a ghost???

but i think that you have a poltergeist cuz they are the ones who are likely to want to destry and harm us.
speak to some specalist about this, maybe they might help.

Are you worried about this ghost? Do you want this spirit gone? If so, you should maybe get someone in about it? Some professional or a priest to exorcise it or something. It should be looked into, it certainly seems like there is spiritual activity.
Do you know the history of your house? And the history of the site on which your house was built on? That could explain a lot. For example, if an ancient Pagan burial ground or a war took place in your area, that might mean there are unrested spirits haunting your house. Or if your house is old and something happened there, or the old residents of your house wish to stick around...Don't mean to scare you, sorry if I did!
Good luck with everything! {Hugs}

How to define possessive boyfriend? (Ladies and probably some guys can help me out with this)?
Hi, how do you define a guy is possessive and would avoid him in a relationship?
My case is this: I like this girl and I see her daily at work and go for lunch together almost everyday. She treats me like a friend and already told me that she do not want to commit into a relationship with me. I would really like her to be my girlfriend hang out with her frequently.
When it rained and we are out together, I carry a big umbrella so that she don't get caught in rain.
I text her frequently wishing her to sleep well and sweet dreams.
When she work late, I stayed with her until she is ready to leave for home.
If she needs me, I will stand by her. No matter how busy I am.
When she is in danger, I grabbed her hand and pull her away.
If she is blocking someone in the supermart, I try to shift her away from the person's path.
When she is feeling down, I ask her what happened, I try to cheer her up.
On special occasions, I handcrafted something paper flower origamis for her.
Possessive?
How to define possessive boyfriend? (Ladies and probably some guys can help me out with this)?
NO, u are not possessive u just care about her a lot. A possessive person is some one the don't let her do nothing, don't let her go anywhere, told her what to do, what time to get home, what friend she should hang out with, how she should be dress etc. If she already told u she doesn't want a relationship with u, u should give her space because she may thing u are stocking her. But whatever u doing now is fine, a lot of woman want to fine a man like u.
Good Look
Reply:Honestly I don't think you're possesive at all. I think you're a great boy and she should be lucky that you like her so much.
Reply:I'm not sure possessive is the term. Maybe doormat. I mean, its nice to do things fro friends and all, but is she just using you because she knows how you feel about her?
Reply:Thats not possessive, possessive is more mean like. You sound like such a sweetheart!!! She would be lucky to have you! Take you time and show her that you really will be there for her. She will come around!
