What do you think of this as a centerpiece?

I'm thinking about making my centerpieces out of paper flowers like this.

Or maybe mixing in real flowers with the paper ones?

I think it would give it a fun artsy vibe?

Our wedding is casual at a state park so we will already be surrounded by natural flowers, trees and plants.

What do you think of this as a centerpiece?
Jennifer, do yourself a favor and do not add to the list of things that need to be done for a wedding. The amount of time and cost of supplies, would outweigh the time saved and convenience of getting real flowers.

You could use these for your reception, to save cost in decorating, but for you and your bridesmaids, use real.
Reply:2 things you said rang bells in my head

1st of all, "an artsy vibe" hmmmm i consider myself to be quite artsy, so i'm not adverse, but is that the look you want at your wedding,

and secondly, you say you will be surrounded by nature, and this sounds beautiful, why bring in something so artificial? if your wedding had been indoors i think these flowers would be beautiful, but since you have mother nature as your backdrop, i think it will highlight the colour %26amp; textures as fake even more,

work with something more natural, keep consistancy going

a park wedding sounds wonderful

congratulations
Reply:They are beautiful and will never wilt or die!

I think you should just stick to the paper ones rather than a mix. Play around with them before making your entire bouquet, if it doesn't tell you how to make specific variety of flowers you want can you come up with then yourself?

I think it is very artsy and beautiful. Probably cheaper than flowers from a florist as well.

Good luck!
Reply:i think the paper flowers are an excellent idea the reason is because if you think about it they will last forever and you can keep them as a memory forever-just like your marriage! i wish you the best of luck and god bless you
Reply:i think the centerpieces would look beautiful. the flowers look so real.
Reply:It's beautiful... but would be so bizarre/ironic to have paper flowers when you are outside in nature!

Pick some wildflowers, or branches, or berries!
Reply:These look great. Please don't mix with real flowers, because they are good on their own. Start making your flowers early because they look like they will take a long time to make.
Reply:Wow those are gorgeous! I think they're a great idea. I wouldn't worry about mixing them with fresh flowers, they are beautiful as they are.
Reply:wow those flowers looked real lol.. i was looking around for the fake ones haha!

i would just do the centerpices with thos paper ones and then having babys breath as well or some other kind of filler flower :)
Reply:AWESOME!!! They are really really pretty...I'd just stick to those ones if possible

Let the park/mother nature arrange the real flowers etc. lol
Reply:They look adorable to me, I think a tad a baby's Breath would look cute as well!
Reply:WOW- those look amazing! i wish i had talent enough to do that...lol

i just love those, plus some of your guests would be able to bring them home if you wanted..as a special gift
