Can three women be partners in a small flower shop?

I am considering starting a flower shop with two girl friends. What would be the best way to set it up where there will be no missunderstandings and every one is feels equal? What kinds of paper work should we fill out to make sure it is all legal and clear? And lastly, can this really be a profitable undertaking?Or should I think twice? I have never been in a partenership, let alone with three people. So I am on the fence about doing this. Any advise or experiences will help. Thanks.

yes
Reply:The first question is not can three women... The first question is did you do a study in your are to see the need for your services and who your potential costumers can be? Next is calculate overhead, how long can you carry the business before it begins to produce, can you pre-arrange some contracts with upfront $$ to help you and how much are you willing to loose before you win? What kind of roll will each one have? Will each come in with the same amount of money, time, experience, ability? A partnership is like a marriage. There are good times and bad times but when mature people get together in any venture they firs want to know everything that can go wrong and if they can have a realistic solution to it all. Get legal advice, write an agreement, let it be clear and understood. A friend is a very valuable asset!
Reply:See a business advisor first (all 3 of you). They will take you through various aspects of running the business, iss it feasable etc, and all the legal stuff.

You get on well as friends, but will you get on well as business partners? You have got to think of that. At some point, one of you may have to point out mistakes made by one of the others. Can you do this to a friend? Can they take being 'told off' by a friend.

It might work, but you have got to think through all teh options
Reply:It will end up as a cat fight. DON"T do it.
Reply:Three women partners all wanting to be the boss.
